Great place to get a drink and food. The ambience is very friendly, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has an open fire place though it's usually hard to get a table around it (no reservations, just wait for someone to leave and take it). It can sometimes get too loud to have a serious conversation, especially after 7pm.

Pretty nice and stylish restaurant very close to the BART and other places in the downtown. They have outside seating with heaters and shade. The food is OK, they have a reasonably good selection of beers, but sadly no dessert. The inside gets very loud basically making it impossible to have a real conversation. There is a bit of pressure to pay and leave once finished or close to being finished with the food.

Pretty outdoor seating and good pizza. Took family from NYC/NJ area, and they were delighted with their pizzas! We enjoyed the garlic chicken wings too, although it was served slightly cool.

Good beer and cheese fondue! Beet salad and pizza were delicious too. Friendly service!

I actually enjoy their food and service, awesome location very close to my residence. The cashiers are always super nice. Will visit here again.

Peaceful place to spend a few hours. Easy walking amongst the impressive trees. Great views on the drive up and the narrow road makes things interesting.

What a great spot to stop for a drink! Loved the atmosphere and the decor. There is a massive outdoor area (with heating lamps) and there was plenty of room for groups of all sizes. The staff was attentive and fun, can't wait to come here again!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Great beer, great vibes, interesting and delicious pizzas, solid small plates...a great spot for couples or small groups, though any larger than four and you'll probably have a super hard time getting a seat during busy times. It's popular for a reason! I have also found, over many visits, that the staff are incredibly patient and even-tempered given what I can only assume are eight-hour shifts of pure chaos.

Great place with nice ambience and delicious pizzas. There after quite a lot of veggie options which was great. The server was really nice and friendly. The patio seating is also very pretty.

Great beer, but service is hit or miss. Staff seems overwhelmed at peak hours. Waited for pizza for over an hour and had to leave without, to catch a show. Serving staff didn't seem to know or warn about delays when ordering.

As a non-drinker I thought I could at least join some colleagues after work for a drink and have something non-alcoholic while they have their beers. Basically all they have without alcohol is some overpriced, bland ice tea. Disappointing.

Awesome place to grab a pizza and a good beer. Excellent staff make you feel right at home. Loved the outdoor seating area with the fire pit. Overall an excellent experience, this is now one of my go to spots in Berkeley!

This place pulls off the 50-50 mix of beer garden and wood fired pizza restaurant. That might sound weird but I've been to one or two that have been much more one than the other. This one gives equal parts of the business the appropriate attention.

Great pizza/food. Good beers with several guest taps. Unfortunately they don't do flights of their own beers. Nice outdoor area.

If you have not been to Jupiter...you have been missing out. The pizza is delicious. The beer selection is always solid. The ambiance and outdoor patio is always great.

They serve large portions and for convenient pricing. very nice owner. Fantastic work.

This place is nice and roomy, the meals was delightful and the rates were very economical. quickly, efficient service and very personal staff. I recommend this place.

Jupiter in Berkeley had great service and excellent food. I tried four of their appetizers and the spinach and artichoke dip definitely stood out. Their pizzas are wonderful as well. I particularly liked the Galileo! The servers are attentive and friendly and the live music was fantastic.

My favorite restaurant in the world. Excellent pizza in just the most gorgeous setting. Their beers are fantastic, every style.

Really good beer selection. I sat outside on the patio and was in a section where you had to order at the bar, most outside seating is full service. Even though we had to go to the bar to order they brought food out to our table. Food was really good and it was a great place to grave a couple drinks with friends.

Good place for gatherings, but if you're having an event with 15+ people, ask to be seated in a side area that is NOT a corridor for servers. The servers who kept passing our tables were very visibly frustrated with us for standing and mingling. However, they could have solved this problem at the outset.

Came here to reunite with family and friends. Been having drinks and food here for a good few years and have always enjoyed myself. I am very grateful for this place

Always and forever my favorite place. In any occasion. You can sit anywhere you like. Beautiful open patio, live music, Salmon salad, Smoked pork ribs, delicious pizzas (Circe is the best one for me) and of course 1 Hefeweizen for me please!

A great bar with a wonderful atmosphere. They have both a patio and an upstairs space, so lots of room. There is also a large beer selection with many varieties. I found all my thirsts quenched.

I enjoyed a large salmon salad, and the salmon was nice and smooth with a cool lemon sauce on the mixed leaves; the dry potato slices mixed in were an irregular and ambiguous but not polarizing addition. My brother's pizza didn't have nearly enough cheese or sauce to be very palatable; too crisp and burnt for our tastes.I don't think we had the best Jupiter had to offer, so we may be back. If there's one thing that's nice, it's the setting and ambience.

Heat lamps, an awesome staff, and solid bar management. An all around good time.

Happening and fun place. Great place to gather with friends and loved ones. Live music, drinks and nice appetizers. We went to celebrate my hubby's birthday. It was very nice. The one thing I really likes is outdoor seating. They have quite big space. Loved the ambience, lighting and food. I would really want to visit the place again.

This is a great go-to place. The food and the service are above average for sure. The pastrami French did sandwich is outstanding. Great selection of pizzas.

This is probably one of my favorite bars I've ever been to! Beer is great, food is good, but the outdoor patio in the back is what makes this place special. Unfortunately, we couldn't find an open table on the back patio, it was a Saturday night and they had a live band. The music was piped into the restaurant inside; really enjoyed the music! If you're in the area, you definitely have to check this place out!

Absolutely amazing restaurant with a great ambiance, Berkeley vibe, and wonderful staff. I ordered a spinach salad which ended up having a small bug in it, so they apologized profusely and gave me another brand new salad for free as well as the original one. Our overall bill for 3 people for dinner was incredibly reasonable due to the free salads.

Jupiter can be busy. They play live music at times and their food is pretty yummy. They also have a good beer list too. They have fireplaces lit if you can sit near one and a pretty big menu. Their pizza is yummy also. Great place to hang with the friends.

Great place to grab some beers and get done decent food too eat. Pizza and chicken wings were very tasty. Old rustic feel from inside and great patio sitting outside. The restaurant is much bigger from inside than what it looks from outside.

The pizza is very good and that is coming from someone who is not really a pizza person. And you can do 1/2 and 1/2 pizzas which makes for great compromises! Upstairs needs a little noise absorbing material because the noise level made us leave early but there than that it was a good experience.

Very good social distancing and sanitary measures. I noticed the host cleaning the bathroom door handles while we were eating. The food here is amazing! I always order the big pizza so I can take home leftovers. I got the shrimp one this time which was a bit bland for me but still super tasty, just needed to add some pepper flakes!

Great food, good atmosphere

The pizzas are unusual combinations that are intriguing and delicious. I could have ordered one of each. I highly recommend Jupiter.
